Aden Beauty Supply

I have been a frequent customer at this location for a long time and have always had a pleasant relationship with the owner. However, my experience today was absolutely appalling and offensive. Despite being a regular, I was followed around the store and asked if I needed help four times in a single visit. Being shadowed like a shoplifter—especially while shopping with my young child on a hot day—is dehumanizing and unprofessional. I eventually had to tell the staff to stop hovering after the fourth time. Even though the atmosphere was incredibly uncomfortable, I still proceeded to spend $105 (receipt attached). When I asked for the owner’s schedule to discuss the service, the two individuals at the register mocked me and pretended they didn’t even know who the owner was. The new staff is driving away loyal customers with their suspicious and disrespectful attitudes. I won’t be returning until I can speak with the owner directly about how her patrons are being treated.

If I’m on this side of town I will always come here for any last minute hair needs as they are a black owned business. I don’t recommend buying everything here as far as price and variety. Some finds can be found cheaper on amazon of course if you’re not in a rush. However we pay for convenience with anything. Their contacts are good quality.

My favorite beauty supply. The ladies are helpful and they have a wide variety of hair extensions. The makeup assortment is great as well. They have testers for complexion product like concealers, compacts, etc.
